These MP3s and CDs contain binaural beats and other brain entrainment techniques. Use only with stereo headphones. We recommend a graduated introduction to avoid overload. Do not use while driving or operating heavy machinery. Please consult your health practitioner before use with children under 10, or with people who have a history of epilepsy or seizures. Play at a soft volume.

(Alpha, 8 – 12 Hz)

Alpha is the brainwave frequency we usually display when we feel relaxed, calm and positive. Alpha waves occur just as we fall off to sleep or just as we begin to wake. People who meditate regularly develop increased Alpha frequency in their overall brainwave patterns.

The binaural beats in these meditations stimulate Alpha brain waves by presenting a different signal (frequency) to each ear at the same time. The brain processes the difference between the signals and resonates at a third frequency – the difference between the frequencies presented to each of your ears. This audio is like a form of meditation and mind exercise combined.

Alpha tracks can be listened to sitting quietly with your eyes open or closed. You may read or have a cup of tea or non- alcoholic beverage, however, do not drink coffee as it suppresses alpha brainwaves. Do not watch TV, use a computer or hold a conversation as this may produce competing brainwaves.

After a few minutes of listening you will begin to feel more relaxed, more positive and less stressed. Often aches and pains in your body are reduced or disappear. At the end you will probably feel quite different to the feelings you had when you began to listen. The new feeling may persist for time. If you feel drowsy after the meditation, wait a few minutes before driving or doing strenuous activity.

Alpha for Crisis Intervention

This track has been used in order to successfully:

  • regain a calm, centred feeling after relationship turmoil;
  • enhance existing meditation practice;
  • instantly lower dangerously high blood pressure;
  • slow a racing heart to it’s normal rhythm;
  • produce a calm and positive effect prior to going to work in the morning;
  • relieve body aches and pains associated with stress;
  • focus on a program of study when focus was lost through fatigue;
  • calm an emotionally distressed teenager;
  • stop intrusive thoughts preventing sleep.

Long-term Therapeutic Use

When used daily over a prolonged period these Alpha, Theta and Delta tracks will produce a noticeable change in your emotional state. You will experience an increasing sense of relaxation and ease as meditating balances and synchronises the two cerebral hemispheres of the brain. Binaural beats speeds up this natural process achieved my advanced mediators.

Overload or Overuse of the binaural beats audio stimulus

The signals will be similar to those you receive when you over-exercise your body. Common signals of overuse are: a headache, dizziness, pains in the neck or arm, a feeling of discomfort and resistance to using the CD. If you get symptoms that are unpleasant after use, the remedy is to stop for a few days. But don’t give up altogether, as that would be like stopping all physical exercise because you overdid it once! When you begin again, cut back a bit. Listen for a shorter time or less often – find your own level of comfort before you progress forward. These shorter exposures allow the brain time to readjust to the neurological calculations stimulated by binaural beats.

(Theta, 4 – 8 Hz)

Theta frequency is slower than Alpha and is the dominant frequency produced by the brain while dreaming. When you experience Theta while sitting in a relaxed position with your head supported and eyes closed, you will experience benefits similar to those provided by sleep.

When your brain produces Theta, it assists you to:

  • boost your immune system;
  • reduce symptoms associated with post viral syndromes;
  • generate creative insights and remove “mental blocks”
  • consolidate information from short-term to long-term memory;
  • deepen states of meditation;
  • assist you to sleep restfully if you have been unable to do so.

You will usually notice these changes over time rather than immediately, although enhanced ability to sleep is often reported immediately, as is relief from some symptoms of post-viral syndrome. People have also reported curing hangovers by meditating in Theta. When you alter your brainwaves to Theta frequency, your body is stimulated to release beneficial chemicals like serotonin, acetylcholine and DHEA as it does while you are sleeping.

(Delta, 0.5 – 4 Hz)

Our brains naturally produce Delta frequency after we have finished dreaming and are in the deepest part of the sleep cycle. All bodily functions have slowed down in this state of consciousness. Your respiration has slowed down, plus beneficial hormones and neurotransmitters are released that heal and replenish your body. Delta frequency produce beneficial effects in health, psychological well-being and energy levels. The effects are tangible but require repeated use over a several weeks.

When you experience Delta frequency while you are still conscious, with your eyes closed, sitting or laying down in a relaxed position with your head supported, you will experience a kind of transition state between waking and sleeping. You will notice your breathing slows and your body becomes very still. Many people report a feeling of oneness with the world or with infinity.

Suggested introduction program of use, to gain maximum therapeutic benefits.

Listen to an Alpha track daily for approximately six weeks. Choose a time that suits you, preferably a time thatis associated with feelings you want to get rid of, like sadness, fatigue, stress, or upset in a relationship. After 1 – 2 months, change to a Theta and then a Delta track daily for six weeks each. Later you may want to try the full hour journey of Alpha, Theta and Delta.

Brainwave patterns to follow, for the making your own programs:

(Alpha-Theta-Delta) or (Theta-Delta) or (Delta-Theta-Alpha). Feel what works best for you and design programs to suit your desire and needs. During day or morning meditations, if you need to return to focus fast, it can be best to finish a program with an Alpha track.
